What's this? Something neat. Working on a new book. Already have 20 pages and counting. Now just to add the misc art, add some "Smart Fluff" and publish it. Looks like I'll be spending this Sunday doing that.
Here's a Yummly insight into my new book.
This has been a hefty week. Did my part to become a tax-paying American. After all the paperwork, you're just glad to be alive. I know I am.
I have a cool script here for those of you who actually use Photoshop - a script that allows you to Duplicate even multiple layers or even groups at once using you key combo. I use cmd + shift + R. GET YOUR SCRIPT! Remember to put it in Application/Photoshop/Presets/Scripts, then your own keycombo does the trick. The very awesome Marc Edwards of Bjango made this possible at Photoshop Family Support Forums. If you care about your software, that's the place to request features. And if you wanna learn something about UI Design for mobile platforms, check out Marc's Articles.
Check out THIS trailer for "Rise of the Planet of The Apes". It looks really awesome, plus, who wouldn't want to see a ton of intelligent monkeys prancing around San Francisco? Looks great. Can't wait to see what John Lithgow's role is. Such a huge fan of that guy. One of the funniest people alive.
Also, if you've missed this, Peter Jackson's production of "The Hobbit" have posted a first video from the set. It's crazy - they rebuilt the rivendell and bagend set and they also give a glimpse of 'Riddles in the Dark'. Martin Freeman probably is a hobbit already. I knew he'd make a great Bilbo when I first heard The Hobbit will be made. His voice fits too. And it makes sense, hobbits just sort of appear british, which of course Ian Holm is...as was obviously Tolkien as well. I love the open-production of the film - the audience very much sees into the process without seeing any of the cool stuff while hype automatically generates over a LONG time and by the time they post the last video before the post-production halts, there has been so much buzz generated by the content you've already put out there, that you have a surefire hit, even if the movie wasn't good. And of course, the movie WILL be GOOD!
